Mark Messner, the President of Legacy Roof Consulting & Design, Inc. spent more than 20 years in the roofing industry, first as an installer and then as the owner of a roofing contracting business in southern California, specializing in the installation of clay and concrete roof tiles.
After selling his contracting business in the late 90’s, Mark became a Technical Representative for MonierLifetile, the largest concrete roof tile manufacturer in the USA at that time. His general role at MonierLifetile comprised of training thousands of contractors, installers, distributors and salespeople on the proper installation of roof tile systems from coast to coast.
For the last 4 years, Mark has since furthered his roll in the roofing industry by becoming certified as a Registered Roof Observer with the RCI and expanding into roof consulting. The same dedication which led him to become one of the top industry experts in pitched tile roofing, has led him to become one of the fastest growing and prominent commercial and residential roof consultants in North America.
Mark’s expertise expands far beyond the pitched tile roofing market into commercial flat roofing of all types, asphalt shingles, slate, metal and additional. His reputation among the manufacturers and installation professionals is impeccable, with 100% of his business coming via referral.
What sets Mark apart in this business is being more than a book based consultant. For the entirety of his 20 years as an installer and roofing contractor, Mark worked on the roof daily. His knowledge as a consultant comes from personally installing more than 2000 roof systems.
